About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Brand & Content Engagement Manager to lead our customer engagement efforts for Muslim Pro and Qalbox. As the Brand & Content Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving healthy engagement and fostering a strong brand presence across various touch points and channels. Your expertise in content marketing, strategic planning, and community engagement will be critical in enhancing our brand recall, affinity, and overall user experience.

You will be leading a team of three executives to spearhead engagement strategies and tactics for the various brand touch points which include offline and online channels such as the Muslim Pro app, website, social media channels, email and company events.

The Brand & Content Engagement team sits within the Marketing Communications department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand and content engagement strategy across all brand touch points and assets including in-app, website, social media, email etc.
  • Align strategic plans with business objectives and values.
  • Identify key metrics for retention and engagement, setting clear goals and KPIs to measure success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of brand messaging, tone, and identity across all platforms.
  • Continuously explore new engagement tactics, technologies, and industry trends to enhance the brand’s positioning and content engagement strategies.

2. Community Engagement:

  • Foster a sense of community and belonging among users, followers, and fans by creating initiatives that encourage interaction and meaningful connections.
  • Monitor and respond to user feedback, comments, and inquiries across various channels, maintaining a positive and engaging dialogue.
  • Lead content marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to create compelling and relevant content.
  • Develop a content strategy that leverages various formats, including but not limited to written, visual, and multimedia content, to resonate with diverse audience segments.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of brand touch points, including the website, social media channels, in-app messaging, and app stores.
  • Implement omnichannel marketing strategies to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless user experiences across all platforms.

3. Media and Content Planning:

  • Plan and manage a media and content planning calendar, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cohesive content delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep the brand’s content and engagement strategies innovative and fresh.

4. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Regularly analyze engagement metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide detailed reports on the performance of brand initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and proposing actionable insights.

5. Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Customer Support to align strategies and ensure consistent brand representation.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engagement specialists and content creators, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
  • Effectively communicate strategies, progress, and results to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting the impact on brand health and engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in social media, content marketing, media planning etc. with a proven track record of success (portfolio of work)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their audiences
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail with working knowledge of SEO and content optimisation
  • Experience with paid content partnerships and working and content affiliate partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
  • Comfortable with hosting and speaking for the camera (for community live sessions etc.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience managing a team
  • Experience in a tech company or with an app brand preferred
  • Able to navigate a fast-paced environment where OKRs and KPIs are critical
